About us

We are a gathering of Independent Baptist ministers from Central Florida. Most of our participants minister in Orange, Seminole, Lake and Alachea county. The fellowship was started by an Orlando Pastor named A.B. Collins back in the 1970's. It has seen many decades of support from the area preachers and some of the most legendary preachers in America have preached in our meetings. 

 

Our hope is to provide a way for pastors to meet each other, encourage each other and motivate each other in our drive to reach the people of Florida. This is a very different state to minister in and it takes a certain set of skills and patience to be successful at God's work in Central Florida. No one understands the challenges of building a work here, more than we do, the pastors of this area. This meeting has proven to be a consistant source of help for pastors that at times feel isolated and discouraged while ministering in a place like Florida. 

 

We are all King James Bible preachers from Independent Baptist churches. we believe and hold to the Baptist articles of the faith and we are all men that seek to see righteousness in our churches while reaching the lost and descipling them towards a more Christlike lifestyle.

 

We are all men of separation and standards but balanced with the understanding that not all people do things the same way. We focus on things that unite us more than the things that could divide us. There is a sweet group of men, men of all ages and backgrounds. There are men from many different colleges and we see a great variety of preaching styles in our meetings. There are laughing, idea swapping, storytelling and consoling done at each of these meetings. The meetings end around noon and feature a lunch provided by the host church and we enjoy breaking bread together in fellowship. It is believed that we are in the last days; If this is so, then we must stay close together and united in the cause of Christ more than ever. Sadly, there are so many divisions among us Independent Baptists, some are important but most are not.
